Russian-backed collaborators in the temporarily occupied city of Energodar have formed an armed detachment of people’s militia as part of a propaganda campaign to legitimize their presence in the region, National Resistance Center of Ukraine reports.
The detachment, composed of around 15 individuals, recently took an oath of allegiance to russia and is now working alongside russian police to patrol the city and intimidate local residents.

The formation of this detachment comes two years after the russian occupation of Energodar and coincides with the creation of a separate volunteer battalion staffed by russians and Serbs.
It should be noted that the members of this detachment have become legitimate targets as a result of their actions and that they will be treated in the same manner as Kherson collaborators who were abandoned by retreating russian forces.
