Crime rates are rising in temporarily occupied territories due to enemy actions. In particular, in Donetsk region, the invaders have formed ethnic criminal groups controlled by russian special services, National Resistance Center of Ukraine reports.

It is noted that such criminal groups were formed in the temporarily occupied territories because of migrants brought to Ukraine by the russians. All of them are traditionally under the influence of the Federal Security Service, which traditionally uses crime to expand its control.
