The russian government has launched an information campaign against Ukraine, announcing the withdrawal of its troops from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region. However, local residents have reported no corresponding movements of enemy troops, National Resistance Center of Ukraine reports.
The russian government may be hoping to use the announcement of the troop withdrawal to distract the Ukrainian military and buy time to regroup its forces. It is also possible that the announcement is intended to demoralize the Ukrainian people and undermine their support for the war effort.

“However, we note that the withdrawal of russian troops from the Kherson region is a matter of time, and therefore in fact we only have a premature release,” National Resistance Center of Ukraine stated.
