The Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully hit russian Rostov na Donu submarine again

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released details of the results of the August 2 attack on the temporarily occupied Crimea.

It is known that two objects were hit at once. The first one was the S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system. According to the General Staff, the strike severely damaged four launchers.

As for the damaged air defense system, OSINT researchers had previously recorded a fire at one of the S-400 Triumph positions near Sevastopol accordingly to the NASA FIRMS fire map.

As CyberBoroshno Telegram channel reported, there were four launchers based on MAZ-543 trucks as well as a 92H6 radar.

Secondly, the B-237 Rostov na Donu submarine of russian Black Sea Fleet was destroyed in the port of the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. According to the General Staff, "the submarine sank on the spot as a result of the hit."

It is known that russians have repeatedly announced their plans to repair this submarine and even reported the completion of the dock repair phase of the Rostov na Donu. Taking this fact into account, we can say that this is a really carefully planned operation with the maximum possible damage to the enemy.

It should be recalled that the Defense Forces of Ukraine have already successfully attacked this submarine with Storm Shadow cruise missiles this fall.

The submarine received serious damages in the bow and in the center of the hull.

Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukrainian drones had attacked russia’s Su-34 fighter-bombers air base.
