Terrorists from russia launched a massive missile attack on the critical infrastructure of Ukraine, on January 26, 2023

This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"This time, the occupiers used high-precision air and sea-based missiles:

- Kh-47 Kinzhal - from two MiG-31K aircraft;

- Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles - from six Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea;

- Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles - from ships and submarines from the Black Sea;

- Kh-59 guided air missiles - from Su-35 aircraft," the report states

According to Ukraine’s Air Force Command, the enemy launched 55 missiles of various types (up to 2 X-47 Kinzhal, up to 40 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles, up to 9 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles, 4 X-59 guided air missiles).

As the report states, 47 cruise and guided air missiles were shot down by the forces and means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with units of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. In addition, three of the four Kh-59 guided air missiles did not reach their targets.

Units of anti-aircraft missile troops, fighter aircraft, mobile fire groups of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, were involved in the anti-aircraft battle.
