Ukrainian Airborne Assault Forces Command has published a video from the frontline depicting a damaged russian tank with sewer hatch iron plates attached to it. This way the russians tried to improve the protection of their vehicle.
Especially interesting it looks in combination with ERA modules on the turret. Most of the manhole covers in Ukraine are about 140 kg of cast iron according to the state standard, but they are unlikely to be of any use, as even Soviet-era RPG-7 anti-tank grenades pierce approximately 30 to 60 cm of homogeneous armor.

In fact, these russian troops could learn a thing or two from their comrades who attached sacks with soft armor to their BMP-3, which is a better match for the reactive armor they already have.
Another interesting detail about this video is that it shows the first destroyed russian "Grad-1" artillery rocket system, a simplified version of BM-21 "Grad", as noticed by Ukraine Weapon Tracker.
According to the records by Oryx community, indeed, there was no Grad-1 system spotted destroyed yet, despite numerous examples of its improved version eliminated by Ukrainian forces.
