On the night of Friday, September 26, a fire broke out at the Afipsky oil refinery in Krasnodar region after a drone attack

The Krasnodar region’s Operations Headquarters reported this on Telegram.

The russians claim that the fire broke out allegedly due to “falling UAV fragments.”

“The drone fragments fell on one of the installations. There were no injuries. A fire broke out on an area of 30 sq. meters, which has already been extinguished. Operational and special services are working on the site,” the report says.

Ukrainian media are publishing photos and videos from russian social networks illustrating the scale of the fire at the Afipsky Oil Refinery.

Prior to this, the Afipsky oil refinery was attacked by drones on August 28. Then, as a result of the strike, a large-scale fire broke out at the plant.

The Ukrainian publication NV New Voice has published a map of the Ukrainian Defense Forces' strikes on russian oil refineries and oil depots in the russian federation, showing the scale of the damage to russian oil infrastructure.

"Ukrainians regularly strike russian oil refineries and oil depots. Explosions or fires occur there, which stop the enterprises for an indefinite period," the explanatory note to the map states.

The strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces are an effective tool for forcing the aggressor country to end the war, as oil revenues are the main source of financing for the Kremlin regime's russia-Ukraine war, as russia calls a "special military operation."

As Defense Express reported on the eve, Ukraine Struck russia's Fuel and Drone Infrastructure in Volgograd, Bashkortostan, and Belgorod. We also wrote, that Aerial and Naval Drones His Novorossiysk, russia's Black Sea Naval Hub.
