That is according to Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops.
"The Tavria direction. There is progress. Artillery units of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction performed 1,464 fire missions during the day," Oleksandr Tarnavskyi wrote on his official Telegram channel on Friday.

As the commander disclosed, "over the past 24 hours, the enemy's losses in killed, wounded and captured amounted to 257 people (dead - 49, and wounded - 208)."
The russians also suffered a heavylosses in materiel. "16 units of enemy military equipment were destroyed. In particular, 4 armored fighting vehicles, 3 artillery systems and mortars, one MLRS, one UAV, 5 vehicles and 2 units of special equipment," Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi noted.
According to the commander, 5 enemy ammunition depots were also destroyed.
Artillerymen of the 40th Separate Artillery Brigade, under the guidance of fighters from the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade, successfully targeted the enemy's ammunition depot and military vehicles.
