Signs have appeared in the public domain indicating that the russian invaders in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region during one of the battles used an improvised system against the defenders of Ukraine, which can be called "ersatz- Solntsepyok" (TOS-1A Solntsepyok is a Heavy Flamethrower System that is capable of using thermobaric warheads, - ed.). This system is an MT-LB transporter, on which a Soviet-made А-22 Ogon’ naval multiple rocket launcher is installed (this system is installed on Zubr-class amphibious assault hovercraft). The actual result of firing such an improvised MLRS remained unknown.
This follows from a publication published by the Polish portal Defence24.

This is the first report in 2 months that the russians have started using their MT-LB vehicles with the A-22 naval multiple rocket launcher that was originally installed on the Zubr-class amphibious assault hovercraft of project 12322.
For the first time, it became known about the appearance of such vehicles by the enemy in June 2023, but until that moment there were no mentions of them in open sources.
russian MT-LB transporters with the A-22 naval multiple rocket launchers look archaic at first glance, but according to their characteristics, they are actually dangerous weapons. A-22 rocket systems have 22 launchers for 140-mm rockets, their firing range is from 4.5 km to 9 km, depending on the modification.
In particular, the A-22 MLRS can use the ZZh-45 incendiary rocket with a firing range of 4.5 km. This rocket is equipped with an ignition mixture weighing 4.8 kg. Also, this MLRS can use two types of high-explosive rocket projectiles - OF-45 with a mass of 27.5 kg, which has a firing range of 4.5 km and the firepower of a 152-mm projectile, and OFD-45 with a mass of 42.5 kg and with a firing range of up to 9 km.
Earlier, Defense Express reported that The russians Used Home-made 324mm Rocket System on the Battlefield in Ukraine.
