The 'Ukrainian Armor' company successfully delivered to Ukraine the first several thousand 122-mm high-explosive shells with a full charge, the production of which takes place in partnership with one of the ammunition manufacturing holdings in Eastern Europe. Such projectiles are necessary for defenders of Ukraine to fire from their Soviet-made D-30 howitzers as wellas 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers.
This is stated in the message of the press service of the 'Ukrainian Armor' company posted on the Facebook page.

It is noted that supplies of such ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue in the future, thanks to the fact that earlier it was possible to restore cooperative ties and unite component manufacturers from several European countries for such a project. It is also emphasized that 122-millimeter high-explosive shells are necessary for Ukrainian troops to destroy individual positions, lines of defense, or enemy armored vehicles.
