As early as September 2022, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) designated russia red, along with Liberia and Bhutan, indicating an extremely high risk to flight safety.

The analysis of the nature of aviation incidents from the obtained documents indicates that a number of failures, especially those related to engines, landing gear and wing mechanisms, have a systemic character. The trend indicates that the sphere of civil aviation in russia is in a zone of serious turbulence with a high risk of plunging into a steep dive.

Desperately attempting to conceal the mounting problems plaguing its civil aviation industry, Moscow is putting its own population at mortal risk.
