Canada will deliver armored vehicles, ammunition, and drones to Ukraine worth more than a billion Canadian dollars in September 2025. The support, unveiled by Prime Minister Mark Carney in Kyiv on Independence Day, also covers assistance against cyberattacks, emergency medical aid, bomb shelter construction, and efforts to strengthen democracy.

"Canada has pledged an additional CA$2 billion in military assistance. Today, I am proud to announce that more than CA$1 billion of this amount will go toward strengthening your arsenal through the supply of drones, ammunition, and armored vehicles, which will arrive as early as next month," Carney stated.
In addition, he said Canada will support Ukraine in countering cyberattacks and provide "tens of millions" for emergency medical aid, the construction of bomb shelters, and strengthening local democracy.

"Canada will deepen its cooperation with Ukraine, European partners, and the United States to ensure the immediate and unconditional return of Ukrainian children," Carney added.
