Press service of the LLC "Ukrainian Armor" has published a photo showing one of the Novator armored vehicles of their manufacture that tripped over an anti-tank mine "at one of the hot directions" of active hostilities, the company noted on its Facebook page.
When the mine detonated, the entire crew was inside the vehicle. The armored car suffered serious damage but all the people survived, the message says.

"The armored capsule withstood the detonation, remained intact, and saved the lives of our soldiers," says Ukrainian Armor in the social media post.
Then, the damaged vehicle was evacuated from the battlefield and handed over for repairs. It will be returned to the military unit after an overhaul.
On a reference note, the Novator armored vehicle was created on the basis of a reinforced Ford F-550 chassis. The insides are furnished with mine-resistant seats, they suppress the blast and have been tested according to NATO AEP-55 STANAG 4569 standard.
Earlier Defense Express covered the modernized version of Novator presented this year at the MSPO defense expo. In addition to enhanced protection, the upgraded version expands the modular capability: it supports various payloads, up to air defense systems.
