According to Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the attack damaged at least one of the enterprise's tanks. The DIU noted that Kirishnefteorgsintez is a significant enterprise in the Kremlin's oil refining industry and "participates in supplying the russian army." On the eve, the governor of the Leningrad region of the russian federation, Alexander Drozdenko, reported on the the attack on Kirishinefteorgsintez. He claimed that the drone debris damaged the external structure of one of the tanks.

According to the russian defense ministry, last night, air defense allegedly intercepted and destroyed 31 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles: 26 drones over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, three UAVs over the territory of the Bryansk region, as well as one drone each over the territories of the Leningrad and Yaroslavl regions.

The attacked Kirishinefteorgsintez refinery is located more than 800 kilometers from the border with Ukraine and is one of the largest russian refineries.
