Another russian Sukhoi Su-25 Grach (NATO reporting name: Frogfoot) was shot down by Ukraine’s paratroopers of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade

A paratrooper of the 25th Separate Sicheslav Airborne Brigade downed a Russian Su-25 armored close air support aircraft with an Igla MANPADS system on Friday, July 29.

That is according to a statement on official page of the the Air Assault Forces Command of Ukraine's Armed Forces on Facebook.

"Yesterday, July 29, in Donetsk region, a serviceman of the air defense unit of the 25th Separate Sicheslav Airborne Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of Ukraine's Armed Forces shot down with an Igla MANPADS system another Su-25 armored close air support aircraft operated by the russian occupiers," the statment reads.

The post is accompanied with a relevant video. The video shows the burning remains of the downed enemy close air support aircraft.

It is also noted that with the onset of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian forces against Ukraine, the air defense units of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade shot down 29 enemy means of aerial attack, including 15 warplanes, seven helicopters, and seven UAVs.

As Defense Express reported, earlier warriors of 25th Separate Sicheslav Airborne Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of Ukraine's Armed Forces shot down an enemy Ka-52 Alligator helicopter using an soviet-made Igla MANPADS.
