Operational Command “South” reported that on the night of August 17, russians conducted a missile attack on Odesa: Tu-22M3 strategic bombers fired Kh-22 missiles, two of them hit a recreation center and several private houses nearby.
As a result of the air strike, a fire broke out on an area of 600 square meters, four civilians were injured, but no one was killed.

It is quite likely that this episode will go down in the history of the war as the most useless way to apply Kh-22 missiles. Theoretically, there are "enough" targets of strategic importance for such cruise missiles in the south of Odesa.
The last time the russian Armed Forces used Kh-22 missiles to attack Ukraine was three weeks ago, during the missile attacks on Statehood Day, July 28, 2022.
