Russian propaganda media report that explosions are heard and seen again in the temporarily occupied Crimea, this time in the area of the military air base in the urban-type village of Gvardiyske, in the Simferopol district.
According to local reports, at first several explosions were heard, then black smoke appeared over the air base. Photos or videos from the scene and other information have not yet been made public.

Traditionally, the distance to the object is more than 240 km, from which it is theoretically possible to strike from the territory of Ukraine.
As Defense Express reported early, on the morning of 16 August, explosions rocked the Dhzankoi district of Russian-occupied Crimea; fire could be seen on the scene. Some reports indicate that a russian ammunition point in the village of Maiske has been hit.
