Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed four air targets of Russian invaders on Wednesday, April 20

The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"On April 20, the air defense forces of the Land Forces and the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed four air targets of the Russian occupiers: 3 UAVs (Orlan-10); 1 cruise missile," the report says.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions on April 20, Russian invaders almost did not use combat aircraft in the areas of active hostilities. However, the enemy continues to use missiles and UAVs of various types.

Russian Gorizont Air S-100 reconnaissance UAV in the East - however the shown drone is in fact a KBLA-IVTs drone which was designed as an aerial target and likely was used to draw out positions of UA air defense systems.

The Air Forces of Ukraine continue to perform special tasks to protect the airspace and inflict fire damage on Russian troops.

Defense Express reported that Ukrainian troops shot down Russian drones with Stinger and Starstreak MANPADS.

As Defense Express also reported Russia was mobilizing civilian An-2 aircrafts and Mi-2 helicopters for the war against Ukraine while US based AeroVironment will donate Quantix Recon UAS for Ukrainian Troops.

Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces shot down five enemy targets on Sunday including Su-type fighter, Mi-24 and Ka-52 helicopters on Sunday, April 17.

Defense Express also reported on Sunday, April 17, that Ukraine raised funds to buy fighter jets for Air Force. The founders of the "Buy me a fighter jet" charity campaign say if NATO isn't willing to close the sky over Ukraine, and the leaders of the countries are afraid to sell aircraft because of Russia's threats, then Ukraine will find a way to get planes for the military on its own.
