"During the transition "Rasul Gamzatov " patrol ship of project 22460 by inland waterways - Volga-Don Canal - from the Caspian Sea to the Sea of Azov, the tugboat that provided the transition of the boat, damaged same elements of a propeller-steering group” - Kovalenko reported.

According to Ukrainian military expert, Russian relocated the patrol boat to strengthen the naval group of occupiers in the Sea of Azov.
The patrol ship is anchored in the port of Azov, the Rostov region and is awaiting repairs. The repair works should involve docking to replace the damaged shaft line and propeller.

"Rasul Gamzatov " patrol ship of project 22460 was transferred to the Coast Guard of the Border Service of the FSB on November 30, 2021. It became the last in a series of 14 units built to order by the FSB. It differs from all other ships of this project by the installation of a new combat module - the "Gibka" launcher for "Igla" and "Verba" SAM, as well as "Ataka" ATGM. Standard armament - 1x6-30 mm AK-630M automatic naval close-in weapon system, 2x1-12.7 mm "Cord" machine gun, basement of Ka-226 helicopter or an S-100 UAV is also possible.
