The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant became a convenient element for russians to blackmail and intimidation of the world

The russian army began systematic shelling of the territory of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and objects near it. Energoatom reported yestrday, August 11, that the nuclear power plant operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety standards.

Earlier yesterday, according to Energoatom, five explosions were recorded in the area of the station's command post - right next to the storage of radiation sources. Five more hits were in the area of the fire station, which is located not far from the station, overall the NPP has been shelled three times in total.

So far, the last known shelling of the nuclear power plant territory was very close to the first power unit. As a result, the pumping station of household sewage was damaged. Extensive smoke was recorded nearby. It was also reported that some radiation safety sensors had failed as a result of shelling.

At the same time, the russian occupiers are trying to blame Ukraine for this. However, local residents state minimum time between the sound of shooting to the hit itself.

In this case, less that three seconds pass between the shot from the mortar and the explosion of the mine. Moreover, the distance from Energodar to the front line does not allow the use of mortars at all.

It is quite possible that the purpose of these shellings is not only the terror of the local population and humanity in general, but also the desire to dissuade representatives of international monitoring organizations from sending a special monitoring mission to the ZNPP, which Ukraine constantly appeals to.

We will also remind you that, according to available information, the Kremlin is mining the ZNPP by the forces of the Wagner Group.
