Thus, the specialized resource Naval News wrote in their April Fool's Day publication that the next American aircraft carrier CVN 80 will be named USS Musk instead of USS Enterprise, in honor of Elon Musk. The authors noted that ‘it will be the first carrier named after a serving Senior Advisor to the President”.
According to the publication, "the executive order on ship naming will follow on from a draft order in February entitled ‘Make Shipbuilding Great Again’.” This should also be helped by the disposal of the oldest commissioner ship in the U.S. Navy, the USS Constitution, which was launched back in 1797. At least DOGE found that this 52-gun wooden frigate no longer has combat value as "wooden ships have no place in a modern warfare."
The UK Defence Journal also touched on naval issues. The publication reported on the plans of the UK government to quickly build "a new fleet of stealth inflatable warships". They "can be easily replaced with a foot pump and a bit of patience". While this pumping option is criticized, "a government representative assured that each vessel would come with a “strategic air pump operator” to ensure rapid deployment.

The Polish specialized resource Defense24, in turn, mentioned US President Donald Trump's encroachment on Canada, Panama and Greenland, writing that the russians have found a legal loophole and are filing a lawsuit in court against the US regarding the recognition of Alaska as russian territory. They say that the treaty signed in 1867 is null and void because the payment of $7.2 million (about $150 million today) was received with a year's delay. Moreover, moscow owned Alaska longer than the United States, as it became a state only in 1959. But if Washington does not agree to judicial regulation, then russia is ready to forcibly annex this territory with the subsequent organization of a referendum.

The German publication Hartpunkt reported on April 1 that the Bundeswehr has ordered the development of special armored air defense train, because, as it turned out, the issue of protecting military echelons and railway junction stations are very critical and currently unresolved. That is why special cars will be created on which air defense means will be placed. In the standardized five-car configuration of such a train, it is assumed that there will be: a car with a radar as well as cars with one IRIS-T SLM air defense system, one Patriot and two cars with Skynex anti-aircraft artillery system.
