In September, the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the position of russian 2C9 Nona-S self-propelled mortars with three GMLRS missiles

Earlier, a video from the Shadow unit of Defense Forces of Ukraine appeared on the network, the operators of which, with the help of a reconnaissance drone, detected the position of enemy self-propelled artillery systems and successfully corrected GMLRS missiles fired from the HIMARS MLRS.

As perfectly demonstrated in the video, the rockets hit two russian 2C9 Nona-S self-propelled mortars, which the occupiers placed right in the middle of a field not far from Donetsk.

A total of three GMLRS missiles were fired at enemy targets. After one of them aimed at the first vehicle, one of the russian soldiers tried to escape from the other one, but at the same second he was "caught up" by the second missile.

Currently, a video from the occupiers themselves, who decided to demonstrate up close how devastating the strike of Ukrainian HIMARS on russian self-propelled mortars was, has appeared on the Internet.

In particular, the first Nona-S mortar is literally in a state of "scrap metal" - as noted by a russian criminal. He also says that the crew of this vehicle probably died. Subsequently, the occupier shows footage of how far the barrel and tower flew away from the affected vehicle.

The second vehicle is not shown in the video. According to the occupier, they were able to evacuate it - it is difficult to assess the state of damage to this mortar, but it is possible that it is at least being sent for repairs. "You can't leave equipment in such open places," sums up the occupier.

Separately, it is worth noting that the russian soldier filming the video has the chevron of the private military campaign "Wagner" - here we can mention that earlier it became known that a number of former "Wagnerians" who were redeployed after Prigozhin's "unsuccessful" march to Moscow in Belarus, now signed contracts with the so-called "Ministry of Defense" of the russian federation and were sent to the eastern direction in Ukraine. This information was reported by the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces, Ilya Yevlash.
