Day 199 of Ukraine’s heroic fight against the russian aggression continues. Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are liberating settlements in the East and South and Advancing Forward while russians keep focusing their efforts on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk oblast, holding the captured territories and disrupting the offensive of Ukrainian troops on certain axes

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released an operational update on the state of warfare as of 18.00, on September 10, 2022.

As the report states, the enemy conducts aerial reconnaissance, continues to fire on the positions of Ukrainian units, attempts to regain its lost position, moving its troops to achieve this goal. The threat of air and missile strikes across Ukraine remains high.

According to Ukraine’s General Staff operational report, during the day of 10th September, the russian occupant forces launched 9 missile and 10 air strikes on military and civilian targets across Ukraine. In particular, the settlements of Slavhorod, Velyka Pysarivka, Velyki Prokhody, Avdiivka, Siversk, Kostiantynivka, Bakhmut, Nevelske, Mar’inka, Velyka Novosilka, Dnipro, Neskuchne, Vilne Pole, Poltavka, Mali Shcherbaky, Mykolaiv, Bilohirya, Sukhyi Stavok, and Bruskinske were affected by enemy strikes.

Key points of the report:

  • Volyn and Polissya axes: no major changes. In order to maintain combat readiness of the troops of the armed forces of the republic of belarus, their exercises have been extended once again.
  • On other axes, the adversary shelled military and civilian infrastructure from tanks, combat vehicles, mortars, artillery and missile systems, namely:
  • Sivershchyna axis: near Bilopillya and Lynove (Sumy oblast);
  • Kharkiv axis: in the vicinities of settlements of Lyutivka, Tymofiivka, Dementiivka, Prudyanka, Zolochiv, Sosnivka, Duvanka, Udy, Kostiantynivka, Peremoha, Velyki Prokhody, Borshchova, and Zamulivka;
  • Slovyansk axis: in the vicinities of settlements of Slovyansk, Dolyna, Krasnopillya, Mykilske, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Dibrivne, Karnaukhivka, Dovhenke, and Dmytrivka;
  • Kramatorsk axis: in the vicinities of settlements of Serebryanka, Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Piskunivka, Sydorove, Siversk, Ivano-Dar’ivka, Rozdolivka, and Spirne;
  • Bakhmut axis: in the vicinities of settlements of Zaytseve, Mykolaivka Druha, Vesela Dolyna, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, and Vesele;
  • Avdiivka axis: near Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Opytne, Vodyane, Karlivka, and Pervomais’ke;
  • Novopavlivka axis: near Mar’inka, Novomykhailivka, Mykilske, Vuhledar, Shevchenko, Velyka Novosilka, Bohoyavlenka, Neskuchne, and Vremivka;
  • Zaporizhzhia axis: in the vicinities of settlements of Novoandriivka, Hulyaipole, Charivne, Rivnopillya, Novosilka, Vilne Pole, Chervone, Malynivka, Orikhiv, Novopil’, and Vremivka;
  • Pivdennyi Buh axis: in the vicinities of settlements of Stepova Dolyna, Oleksandrivka, Myrne, Lyubomyrivka, Kyselivka, Veselyi Kut, Velyke Artakove, Blahodativka and Vysokopillya. In total, over twenty settlements were shelled by artillery on this axis.

As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports, the enemy continues to suffer losses. In particular, as a result of the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the Pivdennyi Buh axis, the losses of units of the 106th airborne division of the armed forces of the russian federation amounted to over 58 people killed in the previous day alone.

The command of the occupying forces is taking measures to restore the combat capability of units of the 1st army corps by transferring personnel who survived combat engagements to other units. Thus, according to the information available, the remaining personnel from the so-called “Khan” special purpose battalion were transferred to the 9th marine regiment.

The number of self-maiming cases has increased among personnel arriving in Ukraine as reinforcements. The russian leadership is constantly looking for new sources of replenishment of reserves. Promising high pay rates and social benefits package, they attempt to recruit “volunteers” among retired military personnel in the Kyrgyz Republic through social media groups.

Due to the approach of units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the command of the russian occupying forces in Kherson oblast is trying to strengthen the city of Kherson by moving reserves in. Thus, new enemy units are reported in Kherson, whose servicemen are poorly oriented in the city.

The invaders are attempt to restore traffic across the Kakhovska HPP bridge, a section of which is under the fire control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In Nova Kakhovka, the invaders intensified filtration activities involving russian FSB officers, checking mobile devices, looking for citizens who has been helping the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The situation is similar in Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled enemy offensives in the vicinities of settlements of Sosnivka, Mayorsk, Mykolayivka Druha, Zaytseve, Vesela Dolyna, Bakhmut, Pervomais’ke, and Novomykhailivka.

Ukrainian Defense Forces continue the liberation of settlements that were temporarily captured by the russian occupiers in the Kharkiv oblast and on the Pivdennyi Buh axis. To ensure safety of our servicemen, official information will be provided later on.

During the day of 10th September, in order to support the actions of the ground groups, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched over 17 strikes on strongholds and concentrations of the enemy’s manpower and equipment, as well as ammunition depots. Air defense units destroyed a UAV and shot down Kh-59 air missile in the airspace of Dnipropetrovsk oblast.

Missile troops and artillery of ground troops continue their missions of counter-battery fire, inflicting damage on command posts, eliminating manpower and destroying combat equipment, disruption of the enemy’s command and control and logistical support system.

During the day of 10th September, as a result of artillery fire, damage was inflicted on two command posts, eight concentrations of enemy manpower and military equipment, as well as an enemy pontoon crossing.

The Ukrainian army is undertaking successful operations along the whole frontline - with most activities in the North-East and the South - and restores, step by step, Ukraine’s territorial integrity violated by Russian invaders.

In just a few recent days, due to the high motivation and capability of the Ukrainian army and with the military support of our true friends, we have liberated over a thousand sq km and taken under control dozens of towns and villages in Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
