On May 4, the Defenders of Ukraine from the 110th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down russian Su-25 attack aircraft. They destroyed the aircraft in Donetsk Oblast.
This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his traditional evening address to the citizens of Ukraine.

"I would especially commend the warriors of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade for shooting down another russian Su-25 in Donetsk Oblast. Well done, guys," he stated.
Zelenskyy also thanked all Ukrainian warriors, who despite the harsh russian pressure and all the difficulties are now eliminating occupiers.
In addition, Zelenskyy thanked every defender who serves in mobile firing groups, in the Air Force, in air defense units and other types of troops - all those who protect and will protect Ukraine`s sky from russian terror.
Earlier Defense Express reported that Yak-52 sport aircraft had taken down russian Orlan-10 near Odesa.
