After a few days of a successful counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region and the liberation of several thousand square kilometers and dozens of settlements, the Kremlin finally admitted its defeat on this part of the front.
In the official summary of the so-called Ministry of Defense of the russian federation, it was reported that the Russian army is withdrawing from the districts of Balakliya, which was liberated by Ukraine’s troops the day before, as well as Izyum, which is now, most likely, surrounded.

Of course, in order not to repeat the "gesture of goodwill" used in the Kremlin to explain the retreat from Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy in March-April, Moscow invented a new version. Officially, for the average zombified russians, it was reported that it was simply decided to "regroup Russian troops" in order to "increase efforts in the Donetsk direction."
That is why, for more than three days, "an operation was carried out to collapse and organize regrouping of the Izyum-Balakley group of troops" to the so-called "DNR". Moreover, it was the Russian Federation that carried out "a series of distraction and demonstration events" and even inflicted "powerful fire damage".
In view of everything, translated from the "RuZZists Newspeak", the Kremlin's official appeal looks as follows:
"After losing control of the units that were encircled, the units of the Russian army, who could, began to flee immediately to the "DPR". Understanding that the Armed Forces spends a certain amount of time on taking prisoners and seizing abandoned equipment, everything was done to win the maximum amount of time in such a way."
