The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has showcased the capabilities of the Vampire UAV, a multi-purpose hexacopter that plays a crucial role in both supporting Ukrainian forces and striking enemy positions.
In a recent demonstration, the border guards demonstrated how this drone operates under the cover of night, resupplying defenders and delivering explosive payloads deep into enemy territory.

Pilots from the Hart Brigade presented the drone's dual-purpose role: it carries food and ammunition to Ukrainian soldiers while also conducting precision strikes against russian troops and equipment. Each night mission is carefully prepared in field conditions, with thorough testing before the drone takes off for its combat assignment.
"It can carry and drop various types of munitions. It's highly effective at eliminating enemy personnel and destroying armored vehicles. We're constantly improving its functionality and getting excellent results. This massive bird can save or destroy, depending on where it's headed," border guard with the call sign Hart said.
As Ukraine continues to implement new technologies on the battlefield, the Vampire drone stands out as a symbol of adaptability and innovation. Its presence adds a sharp edge to Ukraine's night-time operations and offers a glimpse into the future of modern warfare, where unmanned systems play a decisive role.
Earlier Defense Express highlighted the impact that Vampire copters bring to the battlefield, with some doing as many as 27 sorties in one night. For some additional technical information and specifications, see our in-depth analysis of this unmanned system.
