Ukrainian developers from Military Armored Company HUB, a member of the Brave1 cluster, have introduced the Katran, a multifunctional drone. Announced by Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, on his social media page, the drone has already gained a reputation as a game-changer at sea due to its versatility and combat capabilities.
The Katran drone is designed to engage maritime, ground, and aerial targets, making it a highly adaptable battlefield asset. It is equipped with torpedoes, a minigun, a machine gun, and MANPADS, ensuring powerful strikes across diverse operational environments. With the ability to cover distances exceeding 1,000 kilometers during reconnaissance and strike missions, it demonstrates remarkable operational range.
