That is according to a statement o the Ukrainian Air Force Command on its official page on Facebook.

The command added that the second IRIS-T division went on combat duty in Ukraine in late April, 2023.
Also, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a video in which Air Force anti-aircraft gunners share their impressions of the successful operation of German equipment.
"Already during the first baptism of fire in October of last year, when the enemy massively attacked the objects of critical infrastructure of Ukraine, the system shot down 100 percent of the targets," says an anti-aircraft gunner with the call sign "Kum", one of those who studied in Germany and now destroys russian missiles and drones using the modern IRIS-T system.
About the fact that the system is powerful and effective, says the anti-aircraft gunner with the proverbial call sign "Jeweler": "It is accurate and reliable, fully automated, destroys all aerodynamic targets that approach our area of responsibility. In addition, we are able to share the information that we see on our monitors with a halp of our radars, with our colleagues. They, in turn, destroy the targets according to our data," comments "Jeweler” who is the deputy commander of the air defense missile unit.
Another important advantage of the German air defense system is the minimization of the risk to people. After deploying the launchers and radar, the anti-aircraft fighters immediately go to a shelter. All that remains is the team that are on duty and making combat work.
IRIS-T is one of the world's newest developments in the field of air defense. And, of course, the arrival of another German air defense system strengthened Ukrainian air defense At the same time, it should be noted that in order to protect one of the largest countries in Europe, which is Ukraine, the country needs much more modern weaponry.
