The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially approved the D-21-12R unmanned ground vehicle for operational use, according to the Main Directorate of Support for the Lifecycle of Weapons and Military Equipment.
Designed to enhance operational versatility, the D-21-12R vehicle is equipped with a heavy-caliber machine gun and engineered for a wide range of tasks. Its capabilities include surveillance, patrolling, providing critical fire support to Ukrainian units, and engaging enemy personnel and lightly armored vehicles on the battlefield.

A standout feature of the D-21-12R vehicle is its exceptional off-road mobility. The system is capable of traversing challenging terrain, including rough landscapes, swamps, and shallow water obstacles, ensuring that it can operate effectively in diverse environments. Additionally, the vehicle is remotely operated, with a secure controller located at a safe distance, thereby minimizing risk to personnel while maintaining tactical superiority.
