The Valuk CSV variant provides the 44th Mechanized Brigade with enhanced communication and command capabilities

The 44th Separate Mechanized Brigade showed Slovenian Valuk armored personnel carrier in its command and staff vehicle (CSV) variant. This specialized version of the Valuk vehicle differs from the standard APC, offering enhanced communication capabilities and space for tactical leadership.

Equipped with additional radio equipment, the CSV variant can manage battlefield communications more efficiently, making it an ideal vehicle for command and control tasks. While the standard Valuk version typically holds six personnel, the CSV is designed to accommodate only four troopers, emphasizing its role in coordinating and managing operations rather than transporting larger groups of soldiers.

The vehicle’s primary armament is the GMG 40 mm grenade launcher, providing sufficient firepower to defend itself and its occupants. Notably, the OVT markings indicate that this vehicle was probably part of the 5th Wheeled Combat Vehicles Company, a unit within the Logistics Brigade of the Slovenian Armed Forces.
