Raytheon Technologies, a manufacturer of NASAMS surface-to-air missile systems, has supplied the United States government with two of these air defense systems intended for Ukraine. It was announced on October 25 by CEO Greg Hayes, Defense News reported.
“We did just deliver two NASAMS systems. ... We delivered two of them to the government a couple of weeks ago. They’re being installed in Ukraine [imminently],” Hayes said.

Defense Express reminds that NASAMS arrival date had been announced earlier. The Pentagon officials stated "within the next few weeks", which is in November.
But then it was not specified how many SAMs the United States plans to transfer in. At the same time, now we know it’s going to be two systems by the end of the year that will help Ukraine’s military in the fight against the russian threat from the air. Overall, the USA plans to supply Ukraine with at least eight units of this system.
Thus, by the end of this year, the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be strengthened with a batch of new different anti-aircraft missile systems. Earlier in October, Ukraine received the first IRIS-T air defense system, while the other day German Chancellor Olaf Scholz promised to deliver three more such air defense systems as soon as possible.
