Greece will not transfer weapons to Ukraine if this will negatively affect its defense capabilities. The Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, made this statement, Protothema reports.
During the conference, Mitsotakis was asked whether the Greek government plans to send the S-300 complex to Ukraine along with special forces for Ukraine’s military training, also if Greece plans to send armored vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As for the S-300, Mitsotakis said that the transfer of these weapons "is not even worth talking about" and in this context noted that any support for Ukraine should not harm Greece's defense capabilities.
As for armored vehicles, the Prime Minister recalled the agreement with Germany regarding the ring exchange of the Soviet BMP-1s infantry fighting vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in exchange for German Marder armored vehicles – Mitsotakis noted that negotiations are still ongoing.
