The Cabinet of the United Kingdom announced that today Prime Minister Boris Johnson had a conversation with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi. Among other things, Johnson announced the decision to provide a new package of military aid to Ukraine, namely 10 self-propelled artillery guns of an unspecified type and loitering munition, the type and number of it is not disclosed.
Ten self-propelled guns are, in fact, two incomplete artillery batteries. There may be two options at once, which type of self-propelled guns Great Britain plans to transfer to the Armed Forces.

The first thing that comes to mind is the 155 mm AS90, the only type of self-propelled gun in service with the British Army. All the more so, as there were already hints in the mass media that London was preparing to transfer such SPG to Ukraine.
If this assumption is true, it would mean that the British military would "share" 10% of its self-propelled guns. According to The Military Balance as of 2021, the British Army had 89 AS90 units.
But there may be another option: Great Britain is preparing to hand over to Ukraine the first 10 of more than 20 M109 self-propelled guns, which were bought from a Belgian private company in mid-June 2022.
The Minister of Defense Ben Wallace directly said that Britain had purchased these self-propelled guns to repair and then hand over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
