Fighters of the 4th SSO Regiment Ranger have showcased their battle-hardened companion — the MaxxPro armored vehicle, which has undergone upgrades and received additional protection against FPV drones

The 4th Regiment of the Special Operations Forces shared the update on its official page.

According to the report, the MaxxPro remains a mobile and reliable shield for Ranger personnel on the battlefield. Originally designed to counter mine threats and improvised explosive devices (IEDs), the vehicle has now been adapted to withstand modern threats — including FPV drones, which have become one of the enemy’s primary weapons on the front line.

The MaxxPro is an American MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle jointly developed by Navistar International and Plasan Sasa (Israel). Its distinctive feature is a V-shaped hull that effectively deflects blast waves from explosions. The vehicle is also equipped with reinforced armor, advanced communication systems, and can carry up to seven personnel, including crew members.

The regiment emphasizes that the MaxxPro is a product of successful collaboration between American and Israeli defense industries — combining cutting-edge technologies with years of combat experience in global hotspots.

"Protect your loved ones with modern weaponry — join the 4th SSO Regiment Ranger," the unit stated. "Together, we destroy the enemy and defend every inch of Ukrainian land."

As Defense Express previously reported, operators of the Phoenix border guard unit have carried out a successful series of strikes targeting russian military equipment, according to an official report from the Unmanned Systems Forces. The operation reportedly resulted in the destruction of several high-value enemy assets, including tanks, the BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket system, and two types of specialized equipment: rare radar station and robotic ground vehicle.
