There is an assumption that it could be AT-1K Raybolt anti-tank guided missiles

It is still unknown what kind of weapons South Korea will be ready to transfer to Ukraine to repel the russian invasion. Various assumptions can be made, but it is better to pay attention on what specialized South Korean resources write.

For instance, OSINT analyst Mason_8178 noted in his Twitter post that the first deliveries from South Korea to the Armed Forces of Ukraine may include 105-mm and 155-mm artillery shells, as well as AT-1K Raybolt anti-tank guided missiles.

Although there is no official confirmation of this information yet, but it is still worth taking into account. For example, if South Korea's decision is confirmed, it will mean that Seoul has chosen the logic of gradually increasing military assistance to Ukraine. So, it all starts with heavy infantry weapons.

The AT-1K Raybolt should be described separately. This anti-tank missile was put into mass production in the summer of 2017. It can be called a South Korean analog of Javelin in terms of the combination of characteristics and technological solutions incorporated in this ATGM.

It is known that the AT-1K Raybolt was successfully used by the Yemeni Armed Forces during the battles against the Yemeni Houthis in 2015-2018, as well as by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces during the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War in 2020.

The AT-1K Raybolt has a maximum range of 2.5 to 3 kilometers, a gross weight of 20 kilograms, as well as 1-2 people can operate it.

Earlier Defense Express reported that South Korea had been ready to repair Romanian roads to open way for K2 tank supplies.
