The occupiers really demonstrated that they know how to mine the approaches to their positions on a large scale, as well as quickly and effectively - this was emphasized above all in the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whose servicemen were among the first to face this threat at the beginning of the summer.

Recently, the scope of this problem has been embodied in the digital dimension as well - as the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, told, the Ukrainian military finds up to five mines planted by the enemy per square meter in certain areas of the front.
You can see with your own eyes what exactly such mines can look like in practice in one of the photos that was published in the TrenerDiaries Telegram channel.
In particular, in the photo below you can see 8 mines that the occupiers installed on a plot of 1-2 square meters, of which one is a Soviet-made TM-62 anti-tank mine, and seven more are PMN-4 high-explosive anti-personnel pressure-actuated landmines.
This is a vivid example of so-called cluster mining. "This is mixed mining, when an anti-tank mine is installed, and several anti-personnel mines are installed around it. A complex mine barrier is created, which is very difficult to break through," the source said.
This photo is a reason to remind once again what difficulties are faced by the servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, who are liberating Ukrainian lands from the russian occupation army meter by meter.
