On the morning of January 15, unidentified drones struck russia's Kaluga region, igniting a fire at an industrial facility in the Dzerzhinsky district, according to russian Telegram channels

Eyewitnesses cited by SHOT reported hearing four to five explosions and bursts of gunfire around 6 a.m. The attack triggered a blaze at an industrial site, though its exact location remains undisclosed. Meanwhile, videos circulating on social media capture the sounds of drones and air defense systems in action.

Regional governor Vladislav Shapsha confirmed the drone strike and subsequent fire but claimed the blaze resulted from falling debris.

"A fire broke out at an industrial facility in the Dzerzhinsky district due to the crash of a UAV. Emergency response teams and an operational group have arrived at the scene. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties," he stated on social media.

That night, unidentified drones also targeted Rostov-on-Don, Novomoskovsk in the Tula region, and Engels in the Saratov region.

Explosions were also reported in Volgograd, where russian sources claim drones struck a local oil depot, prompting air defense systems to engage.
