One of Ukrainian companies will provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with REX UAV that coincide with NATO full kill chain solution standards

The Defenders of Ukraine will receive a REX UAV that is resistant to radar systems. It consists of two drones, a ground control station as well as a launcher. The cost of manufacturing of a pre-production model is UAH 12.5 million.

- The REX UAV is resistant to electronic warfare. It detects, identifies targets as well as quickly localizes their coordinates;

- It can independently conduct reconnaissance, follow-up, observe in dynamics as well as track a moving target;

- Drone selects different types of ammunition depending on the target and broadcasts the results of strikes online via a secure communication channel;

- Instantly assesses effectiveness of the strike.

After the new REX drone is manufactured, the complex will be transferred to the 58th Motorized Brigade for the sniper company that destroyed russian Borisoglebsk 2 MT-LBu ground vehicle mounted, multi-functional electronic warfare weapon system last fall using the Punisher UAV. This russian system worthes more than $200 million.

According to Ukrainian media production of the first pre-production model of the REX UAV is funded by COSMOLOT Ukrainian company as part of Cosmolot Airlines project.

Earlier Defense Express reported that the German drone manufacturer had presented 100 trinity UAVs to Ukraine.
