Ukrainian forces continue to leverage drone-enabled reconnaissance and strike capabilities to target russian assets along the front line. In a recent operation, units of the Joint Forces Task Force reported the destruction of multiple enemy systems, including artillery, transport, and an unmanned bomber.
Footage released via official social media channels shows the sequence of detection and engagement, highlighting the growing effectiveness of Ukrainian UAV crews. The operation was carried out by drone operators from a tank battalion of the 116th Brigade, working in coordination with reconnaissance elements.

During the mission, Ukrainian operators identified a concealed russian artillery position. The target was confirmed to be the 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, a widely used system in russian forces for delivering indirect fire support on the battlefield.
Despite efforts to camouflage the position, the system was detected and rapidly engaged. A precision drone strike destroyed the artillery piece, removing a key source of firepower that could have been used against Ukrainian positions.
In addition to the artillery system, Ukrainian forces also eliminated russian quad bike used for transport and maneuvering. Such vehicles are increasingly employed for rapid movement near the front line, particularly in areas where heavier equipment is more vulnerable.
Another notable target was a heavy hexacopter bomber drone, identified as the Koschei. These types of UAVs are typically used by russian forces to drop munitions on Ukrainian positions, posing a persistent threat to personnel and equipment.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian forces continue to target russian air defense systems near the front line, with the Chornyi Lis 15th Brigade reporting the destruction of a mobile short-range surface-to-air missile system. According to the brigade, the target was russian Osa air defense system actively operating in the field.
