In a significant blow to russian air defenses, the Kryla special unit, part of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, successfully detected and destroyed russian Osa surface-to-air missile system. The Osa SAM system, valued at approximately $10 million, was neutralized by a FPV drone costing only a few hundred dollars.
This operation highlights the cost-effective yet highly effective use of modern drone technology in Ukraine’s ongoing defense efforts. By employing low-cost drones, Ukrainian forces continue to achieve significant results against more expensive and sophisticated enemy equipment, underlining the strategic advantage of innovation on the battlefield.
