Operators from the Balista unit of the Special Operations Forces successfully carried out a series of precision strikes against russian targets in one of the operational sectors, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
According to a video released on April 14 via the official SOF channel, the unit spent several weeks adjusting fire on enemy positions. Their coordinated efforts resulted in the destruction or disabling of key russian military assets and personnel.

Among the confirmed targets hit were a field ammunition depot holding up to 50 tons of munitions, two storage facilities, seven military vehicles, two unidentified artillery systems, the Msta-B howitzer, and BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher system. Up to ten enemy soldiers were reported killed or wounded in the strikes.
This operation underscores the ongoing effectiveness of Ukrainian SOF units in disrupting russian logistics and degrading frontline capabilities.
As Defense Express previously reported, the Nemesis 412th Regiment bomber drones have significantly altered the russian approach to overcoming natural water barriers. The deliberate destruction of key bridges and crossings has forced the adversary to abandon traditional methods and explore other tactics.
In response, russian forces have resorted to using boats and small craft to navigate the rivers that stand as formidable barriers to their advance.
