In the city of Alushta, which is in the temporarily occupied Crimea, a communication unit of the Russian occupiers was hit on the night of Friday, May 24

That is according to information that was provided by the Atesh partisan movement on its Telegram channel.

According to the partisans, military unit No. 28735, which is an important hub of communication and control of the occupiers in Crimea, came under attack.

The partisans noted that it used to be a Ukrainian military unit, but after the occupation it was used by the russians.

"It seems that significant damage was done to the equipment and many occupiers were destroyed. It is likely that the control point of this communication unit was also destroyed. We are waiting for official confirmation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine," the message said.

On the evening of Thursday, May 23, an alarm was declared in the occupied Crimea. Local residents reported explosions in a number of cities - Simferopol, Alushta, Dzhankoya.

Later, the russians traditionally reported the missile attack and that all the targets were allegedly shot down by air defense. However, in Alushta, medical professionals were urgently called to work, as well as local residents reported a large number of ambulances moving there.
