Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, russian Kalibr missiles have become less effective, but they continue to pose a threat to Ukrainian cities, according to a statement by the Ukrainian Navy.
Spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk made this remark, emphasizing that although the missiles' effectiveness has diminished, they should not be underestimated.

"This remains a dangerous weapon, but its effectiveness has decreased since the start of the full-scale invasion. Nonetheless, we cannot rule it out, as it is a powerful and widely available weapon, and there are eight missile carriers stationed in the Black Sea," he said.
Pletenchuk explained that russia has realized the limited effectiveness of launching Kalibr missiles independently. In the latest two attacks, Ukrainian air defenses successfully destroyed all the Kalibr missiles fired by russia.
However, the Kalibr missiles could still be used in combination with other attacks.
"We shouldn’t rule out the possibility that they may also use them for training or operational drills, to familiarize their sailors with the launch process. That being said, the overall effectiveness of these missiles remains questionable," he added.
