According to available information, both facilities were attacked by drones. Reports of the attack on the oil depot in Lyudinovo emerged on December 31, shortly before New Year's Eve. At the same time, the strike on the Ilsky oil refinery was recorded after midnight on January 1.

Ukrainian forces also struck the Almetyevskaya oil processing facility in Tatarstan. The target was hit, and the results are being verified, according to the General Staff.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out strikes on russian military targets in occupied Donetsk Oblast as well. A depot storing Shahed/Geran drones was hit in near Donetsk. The results are being clarified.
In addition, a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system was hit near the village of Shevchenko. At the same time, an attack caused a fire at a fuel and lubricants depot belonging to the russian federation's 51st Arms Army near the town of Ilovaisk.

Near Avdiivka, Ukrainian forces struck a command and observation post of an assault detachment from the 68th Tank Regiment of russia's 150th Motor Rifle Division.
