On one of the key sectors of the front, Ukrainian forces carried out a precise strike against russian artillery position, combining aerial reconnaissance with long-range firepower. The coordinated operation was conducted by the Unmanned Systems Forces together with the Air Assault Forces, highlighting Ukraine's growing integration of reconnaissance and strike capabilities.

Done operators from the Flying Skull Battalion identified the arrival of an enemy column to a firing position. The data was quickly relayed to the Air Assault Forces unit, which prepared a strike using the U.S.-supplied HIMARS.

The rapid transfer of coordinates allowed the Ukrainian side to act with minimal delay, striking the enemy before it could fully deploy. Such speed is critical in counter-battery operations, where artillery systems must be neutralized before they are able to inflict damage on Ukrainian positions.

The HIMARS strike proved effective: russian truck and ammunition depot were destroyed, while at least one artillery piece suffered significant damage. Enemy personnel losses are still being assessed, but initial reports suggest the strike disrupted the unit's ability to operate from that position.

The operation once again demonstrated the value of pairing real-time drone surveillance with high-precision artillery. By closing the gap between target detection and fire delivery, Ukrainian units are able to build what commanders describe as a "continuous reconnaissance-strike loop", leaving the enemy with little room for maneuver.

As Defense Express previously reported, the russian port city of Novorossiysk, where Moscow relocated much of its Black Sea Fleet following repeated Ukrainian strikes in Crimea, came under a major drone attack on Tuesday morning. The cityєs mayor, Andrey Kravchenko, confirmed the incident via Telegram, announcing an air raid alert.
