In the open source, an image is being circulated showing that improvised kamikaze robots have appeared in the possession of Ukrainian soldiers. These kamikaze robots are equipped with the MON-200 mines to target infantry or light armored vehicles

The wheeled chassis of this robotic platform can be used both as a base for one of the pre-war developments in the field of robotic systems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and as a development created during the full-scale war initiated by russia against Ukraine.

Currently, there is no available data on the range of control of the kamikaze robot and number of similar systems that can be at the disposal of Ukrainian defenders.

Indeed, it should be noted that Ukrainian Armed Forces had previous experience using such ground-based kamikaze drones to eliminate russian occupiers.

As reported by Defense Express, during the battles on the Bakhmut direction in March 2023, the soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade "Azov" used their kamikaze robot against the enemy, equipped with an anti-personnel mine and 12 kg of TNT.

Control of such a platform was carried out through a radio channel, with the transmission of a "picture" from the forward-looking camera. The robot's actions were controlled with the help of a drone flying above. Presumably, the detonation was carried out through remote control. This was already a developed technology, ready for mass production.
