Andriy Yusov, a spokesperson of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, estimated the russia’s ability to defend against the Magura V5 drones.
“The Magura V5 drones are constantly evolving and improving, with each new operation differing from the last. Specialists from the Group 13 unit of the Defense Intelligence are continually enhancing their tactics,” he noted.

He explained that the Magura drone is a versatile platform, effective as a strike sea drone and useful for evacuation and reconnaissance.
“Ukrainian Magura drone will surprise. The russians are also adapting, fortifying their maritime defenses. However, Ukrainian forces are effectively pushing the Black Sea Fleet out of Ukrainian waters and further from Crimea. They are forcing them to hide in Novorossiysk, where there was a recent incident, and other locations, using the Sea of Azov for hostile purposes,” Andriy Yusov stated.
