The National Association of Ukrainian Defense Industries (NAUDI) announced on its Facebook page that two of its partner companies—the Luch Design Bureau and Radionix—are expanding their cooperation with Spanish partners in the fields of missiles and air defense systems.
It is reported that a cooperation agreement has been signed with the Spanish Sener Group. This was also mentioned on the official website of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who met with the group's leadership earlier this week.

It is noted that three agreements were signed with Sener. In addition to the Luch Design Bureau and Radionix, the agreements also involve Fire Point, a Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of drones, as well as cruise and ballistic missiles. The signed agreements relate to cooperation between the companies in the missile industry and the air defense sector.
Sener is a private engineering and technology company with offices on five continents and a workforce of approximately 4,500 specialists across more than 100 technical fields, with over 70 years of experience.
Among its projects, Sener participates in the production of the guidance and wings for the IRIS-T air-to-air missile and is also developing the guidance for the IRIS-T SL surface-to-air missile.
The details of the agreement between the parties are not being disclosed. However, it is worth noting that at the 2021 Arms and Security exhibition, the main new product was the Coral anti-aircraft missile from the Luch Design Bureau, with a full-scale model on display.

That same year, it was reported that a Ukrainian air defense system based on the Coral missile could be developed within two years, with approximately 70% of the system already designed. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense also officially announced work on the Coral anti-aircraft missile and the air defense system based on it following russia's full-scale invasion.
In addition, Radionix, which has also signed an agreement with the Spanish Sener, is the developer of the Onyx active radar homing head for the Coral anti-aircraft missile.
However, cooperation with Spanish companies may extend beyond the Coral missile and its associated air defense system, potentially including new developments.
