russian forces continue to deploy various types of military equipment to the frontlines in Ukraine, including electronic warfare (EW) systems, which Ukrainian forces regularly target and destroy.
Recently, soldiers from the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, while conducting aerial reconnaissance in Toretsk direction, identified russian R-934B Sinitsa EW system, which had been concealed in a tree line. Despite the occupiers’ attempts to hide the system, its position was swiftly relayed, and two GMLRS rockets launched from the HIMARS struck it directly. The strike resulted in a significant explosion, sending a column of fire and smoke into the sky. Footage captured the moment of impact, and there are indications that a nearby missile system may have also been destroyed.

It operates within a receiving frequency range of 100-400 MHz, with its transmitter functioning across 100-150, 150-220, and 220-400 MHz bands. The system has an operational radius of up to 250 km and can be deployed in just over 30 minutes. It can operate independently or as part of the Borisoglebsk-2 system, with continuous operation possible for up to 24 hours.
