The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to advance in the Tavria direction and have liberated the territories near the town of Krasnohorivka in Donetsk region, that have been occupied since 2014

That is according to a statement of General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops.

"In the Tavria direction, the Defense Forces have liberated the territories near Krasnohorivka in Donetsk region, which have been occupied since 2014. The advance of our forces continues," General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi wrote on Telegram on Saturday.

At the same time, as Ukrinform reports, the spokesman for the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces, Valerii Shershen, told the nationwide telethon "United News" that Ukrainian troops had pushed the Russians out of the area about a week ago, but the information was not disseminated for tactical reasons.

"The news was a week late. Certain tactical considerations are understandable. Indeed, several positions were seized near Krasnohorivka as a result of a well-prepared assault. There were imitations of actions, and support from artillery and heavy equipment. They also cleared certain areas of mines," said Shershen.

June 22 of this year Twitter user @2uwmp (People's Deputy of Ukraine Yury Mysyagin) wrote: "There are changes on the "Deep State" map. The infantry units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine are making progress in the area of Krasnohorivka settlement in the Donetsk direction. There, on one of the sections of the front, our soldiers have advanced forward and established themselves in new positions."

In turn, MilitaryLand.net published a video on June 23, in which the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly vacate the territories occupied since 2014. Fighters of the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade were advancing in the East.

"Paratroopers of Ukrainian 79th Air Assault Brigade storming russian positions south-east of Krasnohorivka, Donetsk Oblast," says the message accompanying the corresponding video of the battles for this settlement.

As Defense Express reported earlier, Ukraine’s Troops Noticeably Were Advancing in Tavria Direction.
